About the show:

Eccentrics’ ancestors go back to the travelling show artists. These extravagant characters have changed their interval shows where they used to act by the city streets. They are easy-going and charming creatures, and as such, they will create funny and chaotic situations to entertain all types of audiences.

Travelling show with 3 characters who show part of the work which used to be performed by a group of artists in the intervals of the comedies during the Spanish Golden Age. They acted under their masks in Farces, very short comedies of comical-burlesque nature in which there were extravagant and buffoonish characters who bring about the laughter of the audience. Known as the “Mojigangas” these artists were also in charge of wrapping up the theatre shows. Another part of the Eccentric work has evolved in the streets and has received the influence of the Commedia del l’Arte and the cartoons. The result is a burlesque comical show updated the times we are living.
